Poker tours draw big names, big cash at Foxwoods
It's big time poker at the world's largest casino.
It's big time poker at the world's largest casino.

The Professional Poker Tour is bringing the toughest poker faces in the world to Foxwoods. Meanwhile, nearly 700 every-day players are competing for national exposure in the World Poker Tour.

The games are drawing crowds from across the country. About 600 spectators are expected to attend today's final table in the World Poker Finals. That's twice the number who attended last year.

Crowds watched yesterday as players fought for one of six spots at the last table.

Erik Seidel, whose victories include a number of World Championship titles, called the tournament at Foxwoods a "monster."

Tournament organizers say a huge poker payday has replaced a lottery win as the news American dream.
