The Spirit Riders will hold a benefit poker run and picnic on Saturday, with registration from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at Wylie Park beach. There is a $5 per player entry fee.
The run is approximately 140 miles long with cards drawn in Mellette, Redfield, Faulkton, Ipswich and Wylie Park. Families may travel by car. A free picnic will be held after the ride at Wylie Park.
Seventy-five percent of the poker run proceeds will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. A cash raffle will also be held, with 50 percent of the proceeds donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The Spirit Riders promote alcohol- and drug-free riding.
In case of inclement weather, the poker run and picnic will be held Sunday.
